i can see into the future...not!

i've always been gullible...but today i have outdone myself...all thanks to jasmine. i saw her nick at msn messenger was "why, curtin, why?" so i asked her about it. she said that the administration building and student services was burnt! she was like, "no wonder they didn't anwer when i called there...geram!!" i was shocked when i heard about this, so i went downstairs and began scanning the newspaper. i found nothing on the fire. so i went back upstairs and told jasmine about it. and she was like, "you believe me ka? i was just being sarcastic la...i've been trying to call them but they didn't answer the phone". bloody hell. tipah tertipu, bang!!! wooo....if my siblings know about it, for sure they'll laugh until their tummies burst. they know about my gullible-ness and blur-ness more than anyone! *sigh* in another story, my ma told me that the mass comm course in curtin is not accreditted by LAN,yet!! how could this be?? i thought that that catherine person said that it was when i first went there to register! if it's not approved yet, this means that i might have to go to another uni...perhaps a local one. not that that's bad...it's just...curtin's close to home, that's all. but then again...to go study somewhere else...maybe KL...sounds like a lot of fun. challenging i'm sure, but fun... think of all the experiences i'll have! i told my dad i want to major in broadcast, but he doesn't like the idea. he said that it'll be hard to look for a job. i understand where he's coming from. from what i've read, it will be difficult to find jobs in that area. and with all the hours you have to put in for it, you practically have to be married to the job. ok...to be honest, i'm really not sure what i want to be yet. i'd love to be a movie director or producer or something. but then again, i also enjoy writing, like what i'm doing now. i don't think i want to write news stories though. i'd prefer doing features. it gives freedom for me to write about anything. i write better that way. another areain mass comm is public relations. i like it because i'd get to meet a lot of people. but the problem is, i don't think i'm outgoing enough for that kind of career. there's also advertising, but i'm not creative enough to think of ways to promote a product or whatever...*sigh* is mass comm the wrong course for me after all? it'll be easier, i guess, if i was a business student. but all things business bore me. yipes. but i'm keeping my hopes up. ma found that piece of information from someone outside curtin. she said she'll call the campus up to ask them about it *crosses fingers* here's hoping that that guy was mistaken. wish me luck!
