les choristes

i watched a movie just now. bought the dvd last week. it's french. les choristes. it's about this 'failed musician', as he call himself, who is hired to teach at a boarding school for troublesome boys. when he reached there, he saw just how troublesome they were. he also noticed the way the other teachers (the principal,especially) govern the school. they give out tough punishments and were rough with the students. anyway, this new teacher, clement mathieu, decided to do an experiment. he wants to see whether music will be able to tame the savage beasts (hardy har). as it turns out,some of the students can sing. this was especially true of morhange,who has the voice (and face) of an angel,despite carrying this image as a tough guy. i'm telling you, his voice is just so beautiful,i cried! serious!! i actually find myself wishing i had that much talent in singing! the story is very beautiful and moving, i can watch it over an over again! at the risk of sounding like a movie reviewer,i definitely recommend this movie to everyone!
