look,guys! a new entry from me!! uuu.....

(cue: dark, haunting music playing in the bacground)
wow. it happened. i can't believe it. it's not a new thing among Curtin students, of course. i had a few friends who went through it. but this time, it was my turn. for the first time since i studied in Curtin, i had to take a supplementary exam.wow. to be honest, the day the results were released, i had a hunch i didn't do too well. it was only after i logged on to OASIS that my hunch was confirmed (cue: sound of thunderstorms and such in the background). an "x" was glaring back at me in the grade collumn for management 100. i stared at the screen for a moment, immobilised. then i let out a breath i didn't realise i was holding. thank goodness. it wasn't as bad as i thought. i just need to sit for another exam on the said subject, and all will be well...

*CD scratch* so, what do you think? do i have a flair for drama or what? haha....

ok, so, i wasn't terribly upset i had to take a supplementary exam. i was grateful it wasn't something worse. eesh... *shudders* anyway, the exam wasn't terribly scary. i hope i did ok... i had a somewhat difficult time studying for it. first, i don't really like the subject and wasn't feeling very motivated at all. and to make things worse, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince came out a few days before the exam!! needless to say, that one book proved too much of a distraction! Harry Potter fans will understand, i think, what i went through (kan, nysa, kan, kan??) anyway, the day of the exam, i actually brought the book with me, so i could read it while waiting for my mum to pick me up after the exam. but guess what guys? i forgot to bring my pencil case for the exam. i was still feeling sleepy when i was packing my bag that day, and i was so intent on bringing the bloody book, it was all i could think of! bringing my pencil case didn't even occur to me. it was only after doing some last minute studying at the canteen that i realised i was missing something. i went to the convenient shop, but it was closed!! i've said this before, and i'll say it again: 'convenient shop' my a**!!! that f-ing shop really does not live up to its name! so anyway, i panicked for about...ten seconds? then i thought to myself, "it's ok lah... i can just borrow a pen from someone else." i still had about 40 minutes before the exam, so i went to the G2 building, hoping to find a friend from whom i can borrow a pen. i couldn't find anybody, so i just entered an empty class (something nysa taught me) and just studied there. i made my way to G3 about ten minutes before exam time. i met dian, who's doing the exam as well, and she kindly borrowed me a pen. yay! the day is saved!! so yeah, as i said before, the exam was all right. the minute i was done, i made my way to the pick up zone, called my mum, then sat down on one of the benches to read Harry Potter. ahh...freedom....

speaking of Harry Potter, i loved the book. i think it's Rowling's best yet! it had an extremely sad ending though. after i finished reading it and calming myself down, i went online on MSN. i clicked on nysa's nick, and then:

Mimin: niiiisaaaa!!!!
Mimin: he DIED!!!!
Nysa : yes my hp fren, i'm here
Nysa : yes, he died!!!

that is, if you can't tell already, an excerpt of our conversation. we went on talking about said late character, and also of nysa's theory on the betrayer. hehe... it's good to talk to her about these things :)

so, yeah, that's how my week has been so far. hope you guys are all right. i know kimi enjoyed herself immensely at the Curtin camp (gee...guess whose blog i read before typing all this? haha)
